Moses Kofler (who germanised his name to Moritz Koffler) was a merchant (Kaufmann) and lived with his family at Paulsborner Str. 87 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf prior to emigrating to Holland in the 1930s, where he was a stocking manufacturer (kousenfabrikant). His first wife and the mother of his two sons, Oskar and Karl, Gusta Kofler-Antler, presumedly passed away, as he married Theophilia Friedman in Berlin on 29.03.1932.
