About Israel Teitelbaum

Israel Teitelbaum arrived in Amsterdam from Germany on 5 April 1939. He lived with his foster father there at 140 Prins Hendrikkade. On 30 January 1940 he became a ward at the Hof van Moerkerken youth aliyah home in Mijnsheerenland. He remained there until the home was closed on 16 October 1940, after which he and a few other wards moved to the Paviljoen Loosdrechtse Rade youth aliyah home in Loos…

Israel came to the Netherlands on May 5th, 1939. First, he stayed with his foster father in Amsterdam, then he lived in Eindhoven (Dommelhuis), ad Mijnsheerenland before going to Loosdrecht in October 1940.
