Erna Falk and her family lived in Cologne. In 1933 the family fled to the Netherlands.
During the war the parents and one child were transported to Bergen-Belsen. The other child went into hiding. When in 1945 Bergen-Belsen was evacuated Erna Weiss-Falk died en route near the German town Tröbitz. The other family members survived the war.
