Hans Danziger

Hans was previously married to Kathi nee Crohn (27.10.1894 in Köslin) and lived in Berlin prior to emigrating to Holland. She was deported on 88. Alterstransport of 18.05.1943 to Theresienstadt and 19.10.1944, Auschwitz. Their son Helmut emigrated to Holland too and is linked above under family members. In addition, a Jokos file (number 35442) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 2508/18619).

Hans Danziger kwam in 1933 vanuit Berlijn naar Nederland. Als beroepsvermelding staat: boekhandelaar en grossier. In 1933 opende hij een joods internaat in Scheveningen. Hij was getrouwd met Kathi Crohn (27-8-1894) en had twee kinderen: Helmut (31-10-1922) en Werner (6-3-1924).
