Johanna (Hanne) Benda-Selbiger was married to Bernhard Benda, who died in 1919. She had one child. From 1937 to 1939, she lived at R. Claeszenstraat 15. She later moved to Shackletonstraat. One evening in 1942, two Dutchmen in black uniforms came to pick up Hanne. After talking to her for two hours, they left without her. She was picked up later, in 1943, while her child was not at home.
