Jacob Lion Frankenhuis

Jacob Lion Frankenhuis was married to Hetty maud Ellen de Jong. He was a lawyer and litigator and his wife was a nurse. On 24 February 1944 their son Edward Maximiliaan Albert was born in Westerbork transit camp.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 17941) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for looted jewellery (S-claim, number 29/295).

Jacob Lion Frankenhuis en zijn echtgenote Hetty Maud Ellen Frankenhuis-de Jong zaten samen met een andere Joodse vrouw ondergedoken in het Friese Jislum.
