Elias Koopman

Elias Koopman, born on 2 April 1862 in Amsterdam, was a son of Isaac Emanuel Machiel Koopman (1813-1875) and Rebekka Elias Pothuis (1825-1881). He was a cigar maker by trade and was approved for the National Militia; Elias was conscripted into the 7th Infantry Regiment on 5 May 1882.

Elias was een zoon van Isaac Emanuel Machiel Koopman (1813-1875) en Rebekka Elias Pothuis (1825-1881). Op 27-12-1882 trouwde hij te Amsterdam met Rebecca Abraham (1861-1925), zij kregen 1 dochter, Sippora (1886-1930).
Elias Koopman is de eerste persoon die overlijdt in Kamp Vught (Konzentrationlager Herzogenbusch). Hij is dan 80 jaar oud.
