De enig bekende afbeelding van de slagerij aan het Bergschild te Deventer. Het pand is in de oorlog gebombardeerd en is nu een open plek. Emanuel Visser was de vader van Jacob Visser, zelf ook slager.

About Jacob Visser

Jacob Visser was a son of the Deventer butcher Emanuel Visser and Betje Frankfort, a family with three children. Jacob had two other sisters: Sientje and Leentje. He married on 9 January 1889 in Tiel to Esther Hirsch, daughter of Asser Hirsch and Betje Marchand. The couple had one son Asser.
