Salomon Leons

Salomon Leons, born in Rotterdam, was a son of Louis Leons and Esther Frank. Aged 24, he married Dina Selina Wolf, who was 25 years of age, on 23 April 1903 in Rotterdam, a daughter of Carel Wolf and Cato de Haas. The couple had two children, namely Esther Jeannette in 1905 and Karel Louis in 1915. Their daughter has survived the Holocaust, their son Karel Louis has been killed in Auschwitz on 26 …

In addition, a Jokos file (number 1950) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 7290/14501).
