Abraham (Bob) Wijnberg en Mimi Gobits leerden elkaar kennen in 1932 bij de huldiging van Nehemia de Lieme in Amsterdam. In 1941 ging Bob in het gewapend verzet. Mimi dook onder met hun kind in Ilpendam.
