About Julius Sanders

Julius Sanders was a dealer in beef cattle for the firm of Sanders, Cohen & Co. in Germany. He fled to the Netherlands in the 1930s and moved in with his cousin Jacob de Wijze in Nijmegen. In 1941, he married Frieda Goldschmitt.

Julius Sanders was een zoon van Simon Sanders en Wilhelmina Defries.

Zijn vader is in 1862 geboren in Kaldenkirchen en daar op 9 oktober 1937 overleden. Hij was veehandelaar en slager.

Zijn moeder is op 9 mei 1866 geboren in Kaldenkirchen. Zij is in augustus 1939 naar Nederland gekomen en is na een kort verblijf Deventer in Amsterdam ondergedoken geweest.

Frieda Goldschmitt was een dochter van Alfred Goldschmitt - geboren te Saarbrücken op 8 januari 1882 - en Berta Baum.  Zij overleed in 1914.  Alfred  hertrouwde op 14 april 1920 in Essen Dld met Sabine (Sara) Nathan.   
 
Frieda trouwde met Julius (Israël) Sanders ( 1898 - 1942) op 5 februari 1941 te Amsterdam.
