Nathan Bernhard van Blijdestein

Nathan Bernhard van Blijdestein was a son of the butcher Machiel van Blijdestein and Schönette Frank. Nathan was a religious teacher. He married 22 November 1905 in Amsterdam Sophia Kransberg from Zutphen, a daughter of Simon Levie Kransberg and Marianne Philips. In 1906, the couple had a son, born in Emmen (province of Drenthe). De oudste zoon van Nathan Bernard en Sophia, geboren in 1906 te Emmen, trouwde in 1935 met een nicht uit Alphen aan de Rijn. Zij overleefden de oorlog. De zoon werd later eigenaar van een kopermijn in Zuid-Afrika, en overleed daar in 1989.
