Egon and Leo Hofmann came to the Netherlands with a Kindertransport on January 4th, 1939. First they stayed at the Zeehuis in Bergen, and in March 1939 they moved to the boys orphanage in Amsterdam. In May 1940 they moved in with their parents in Zandvoort.
