Joseph Brückner

Joseph was a German refugee: he came to the Netherlands illegally in December 1938. He stayed at the quarantine station in Rotterdam at first, from where he went to Gorssel (de Kleine Haar), Gouda, quarantine Zeeburg in Amsterdam and in February 1940 to Wieringen.
His parents had been deported to Poland, together with brother Siegfried (1925). Joseph also had a Polish passport.
His mother was Helene Silbermann, born in 1891 in Poland, his father was Moshe, born in 1887 in Sicniawa (Poland).
Last address in Germany: Duisburg, Universitätsstr. 20.
A brother survived and went to Israel.
