My deceased Father: Robert Herbert de Hartog ( b.Oct12/16 Rotterdam died 1994 in Ottawa Canada) was Else's Son. Hugo Hubert de Hartog was my Grandfather. Else Buxbaum was my Grandmother. Margot Helene de Hartog( currently alive in New York USA) is my aunt( Else's and Hugo's Daughter).
My name is Andre Robert de Hartog ( b. Nov 22/49) currently living in Ottawa Canada.
I am not sure why my Father is not listed as a surviving child.
I have been trying to find out information concerning my grandparents ( de Hartog side of family) and have found this site very informative.
