About David van Cleef

David van Cleef was a son of Isaac van Cleef and Esther Casseres. David van Cleef worked as his father did, in the diamond industry. As well as being a diamond polisher, David van Cleef was also a diamond cutter. Untill 1925, David van Cleef lived in Amsterdam at 46 Joden Houttuinen. On 16 June 1925 he left Amsterdam to live in Antwerpen. David van Cleef and his wife were deported from camp Mechelen to Auschwitz with the eighth transport that left this camp.
