Rachel Pezarro was a daughter of Eliezer Pezarro and Esther de Miranda, a family with eight children. Lea has passed away already as a baby. Elisabeth, Susanna, Maurits and Salomon have survived the Holocaust but not she herself, her sister Judith and her brother David.
She married in Utrecht on 19 August 1925 to Ezechiel David Heijmans.
