Henriette was the daughter of Philip Nathan Braadbaart and Saartje Witstijn. She married in 1894 in Dordrecht to Hijman Alter, the son of Abraham Alter and Naatje Verveer. They had two children.
After Henriettes dead Hijman Alter probably moved from the Wagenstraat to the Weteringkade, the address he was registered in April 1942.
