Isaäca Maarssen was a daughter of Joseph Maarssen and Sara Polak from Rotterdam. The couple had besides Isaäca two other children: Barend Jozua and Salomon and another brother from the 2nd marriage of Joseph Maarssen. However, this little boy died only 3 months old.
