About Adolf Meijler

The mayor of Winterswijk requested that Adolf Meijler, a cattle dealer residing at 6 Goudvinkenstraat in Winterswijk, be located, detained and brought to trial. He had left his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. Identifying characteristics: 'About 5'7" tall, greying hair, a small moustache, hoarse voice, somewhat hunched over, often wears a flat cap, with a lacquered flap.'
