Milca d'Ancona was a daughter of Jacob d'Ancona and Aaltje Marcus Overste. She married Jacob (Jessurun de) Pinto in 1882 in Amsterdam. He passed away in 1939. They had nine children, among whom Joseph, Israël, Rebecca, Mordechai, Elisabeth and Esther.
