Adolf de Jong was a son of Israel de Jong and Stijntje Fuldauer. He married in 1894 in Weesp to Sophia Simons, who was born in 1868 in Nijmegen. After the divorce he married Dina Chits, who passed away in 1939. The memorial is placed by a nephew that survived the war.
