Benedikt Juhl and his family

Benedikt Juhl worked as a grain dealer in Meckenheim for the firm of Gebr. Juhl. He lived for a short time in Cologne, after which he emigrated to Amsterdam.
Benedikt Juhl came from a family of nine children. Three sisters had Dutch husbands. They too were deported.

In total three children of Benedikt Juhl and Lina Hirsch survived the war. Two children no longer lived with their parents but on other addresses.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 5975/16184).
