Philippus van Adelsbergen was the son of Mozes van Adelsbergen and Sara Bloemendal. He married to Jette Blok, daughter of Jacob Blok and Leentje Haaxma.
They had three children. Two children died when they were very young. Their son Maurits married to Henriettje van Berg, daughter of Izaak van Berg and Mina van Esso. Maurits and Henriettje had two sons: Philip Max and Izak Abraham.
