Selma Romann-Hony and her family

The mayor of Winterswijk asked for Selma Romann-Hony and Paul Romann, both unemployed and displaced, living at 28 Spoorstraat in Winterswijk, to be located, detained and brought to trial. They were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Description of Selma Romann-Hony: 'Height approx. 5'7", black hair tied in a bun, a protruding chin, brown eyes, slightly bandy legs, speaks some German and broken Dutch.'

Description of Paul Romann: 'Height approx. 5'9", dark combed back hair, no facial hair, talks with lisp, speaks German and broken Dutch'.
