Moritz Lehmann and his family

The Roermond police commissioner requested that Moritz Lehmann and Emma Lehmann-Wolf be located, detained and brought to trial. They lived at 60 Kapellerlaan in Roermond and were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. A child of the couple was listed as missing as well.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 34578) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 7237/11211).
