Isidore de Lieme and his wife Marie de Lieme-Goldsmit ran a boarding-house at Binnenkant 37 in Amsterdam. There is a little film dating from 1938 that shows Jewish refugees from Germany ringing the doorbell there. The words ‘Pension De Lieme’ are visible above the door.
