Eva van Stratum-Cohen

Lion van Stratum, the son of Adries van Stratum and Marianne Vos, who was born in Amsterdam on 23 September 1912, was a sales represtative and also a diamond worker. He lived with his parents in Antwerp and Amsterdam, but up from 1930 on his own at Pieter Pauwstraat 10 in Amsterdam. In 1936 he stayed shortly in Antwerp but from 26 January 1937 his domicile was Amsterdam again.

Eva is een dochter van Levy Anthonie Cohen (Markelo, 3 juni 1889) en Flora Denneboom (Avereest, 2 september 1884). Ze trouwde 24 juni 1943 in Amsterdam met Lion van Stratum (A'dam, 23 september 1912).

De koopman Anthonie Cohen (1850-1937) vestigde zich in 1880 samen met zijn vrouw Sophia Polak (1850-1929) in Markelo. Zij woonden aanvankelijk in één van de Lonink-huizen (pand 46), maar kochten in 1913 het vroegere boerderijtje van Hollenberg (pand 89).
