Rachel Morpurgo was a daughter of Hartog Kijl and Mietje Schaap.

Rachel Kijl has been deported on 4 April 1944, together with her husband Abraham Morpurgo, her children Vogelina, Carla Celina and Jacob Hartog, aswell her mother-in-law Vogeltje van Engel, with Convoy 24 from Mechelen to Auschwitz, where it has arrived on the 7th of April.
