Felix Bachrach

Sallie Bachrach was a son of Salomon Bachrach and Carolina Cohen. He previously married Marjane Frijda in 1909 in Assen. She died in 1913. They had a daughter Carolina.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 385/21574).

Felix Bachrach probeerde over de Pyreneeën naar Spanje te vluchten. Hij volgde hiermee het voorbeeld van zijn broer Frits die dit eerder gelukt was. Frits sloot zich daarna in Engeland aan bij de Irenebrigade. 

Felix lukte dit echter niet. Hij werd in de Pyreneeën gearresteerd en overgebracht naar het kamp Mérignac bij Bordeaux.
