Karl Menkel and his family

Karl Menkel was married to Carolina van den Berg. They had one child. Karl Menkel and Carolina van den Berg were German nationals. In 1942 the family reached Westerbork, where several items of jewelry were taken from them. The child survived the war.

The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains a statement taken under oath and a statement of the right to inheritance from 1959.
