Levie Hammelburg werd geboren op 27 maart 1908 te Nijkerk. Op 25 maart 1929 verhuisde hij naar Naaldwijk waar hij een jaar lang tuinder was. Toen hij dat onder de knie had, vertrok hij op 28 mei 1931 naar Eretz Jisroeel. Verdere gegevens ontbreken.
