The Jewish Holocaust Centre in Melbourne (Australia) has seventeen plays written by Abraham Bromet between 1934 and 1940. Circa 1940 he painted a portrait of his son Jacob. When him was offered assistance to go into hiding he turned down the offer.

In 1935 Abraham Bromet was a district manager for the CPN. Later he was a board member of the 'Communistische Partij Oppositie' (CPO).
