Manuel Scheffer was married to Keetje Moscoviter. The couple had nine children of which a son died in childhood, only one year old and a daughter passed away, 18 years old. The other children were: Jacob, Levie, Hartog, Jeanette and three children who survived the war. Like Jacob and Levie, the surviving children had their own families and resided elsewhere.
