Nathan Roos was a son of Aaron Roos en Clara Blog. He married in 1922 in Amsterdam to Sara Mouwes, who died on 24 January 1929 in Antwerp, were the family then lived. On 23 August 1933 Nathan remarried Saartje Hillesum in Amsterdam.
