Friederika Stiel from Eschweiler, was a daughter of Leo Stiel and Regina Marchand. From Brussels she arrived in Holland in 1938 and lived at Leiden and Amsterdam at various addresses. Her first address in Amsterdam was per 26 August 1938 Amstel 296 III, the address of her future spouse Herbert Plaat and his parents Louis Plaat and Rosa Marchand. On 13 July 1942 she married in Amsterdam Herbert Plaat and since 7 June 1941 she lived already permanent at Amstel 296 III (3rd floor).
