The 's-Hertogenbosch police commissioner requested that Alex Levin, a teacher at the Jewish comprehensive school in 's-Hertogenbosch, be located, detained and brought to trial. He lived at 59 Citadellaan in that city and had been arrested on orders of the Sicherheitspolizei but had escaped on 22 October 1942.
Identifying characteristics: 'about 5'9" tall, yellow, rather narrow face, smooth black hair combed back, virtually bald in front; wears dark-rimmed spectacles.'
The missing persons notice indicates that Levin does not have his identification card on him and may not be wearing a Jewish star.
