Abraham Schelvis was a son of Aaron Schelvis and Sara Gosler. He married in Amsterdam on 27 Marchc 1913 to Sara Jacobs, who passed away there on 31 January 1931. The couple had five children: Aron, who was married to Julie de Rosa and resided at another addrress, Simon, Esther, Rika and Rachel, who survived the Holocaust.
