About Joël van der Kous

Joël van der Kous studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals on 21 October 1911. He lived and practised medicine at 114 Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam. Before August 1941 his residential address was 10 Hoogeweg In Amsterdam.

Joël van der Kous was married to Dina van der Kous. Together with P.H. van der Hoog, he wrote the book 'Zal ik dokter worden?' (Hollandia-Drukkerij, Baarn 1932). At the start of World War II, he was a reserve officer 2nd class.
