Aaron Roos was a son of Nathan Roos and Engeltje Plukker. He married in Amsterdam on 12 August 1896 to Clara Blog. Together they had 11 children: Nathan, Duifje, Abraham, Izak, Marcus, (who died in childhood in 1907, nearly 2 years old), Alida, Sara, Marianne, Elisabeth, Joseph and Louis)).
