Elias Stranders was a son of Joseph Stranders and Carolina Rosenzweig, who had toghether eight children: Elias self, Simon, Eva, Moritz, (who passed away already in 1930, aged 54, and who was married to Marianne Wegloop), Albert, Simon, Gustave and Nathan who survived the Holocaust.
Elias married Esther Swaab, aged 25, in Amsterdam on 19 January 1911, a daughter of Levie Swaab and Mietje Appel. She survived the Holocaust.
