Leendert Jacob Italiaander was a son of Jacob Italiaander and Sara Mof. He married 9 October 1918 in Amsterdam to Leentje Scholte, daughter of Joseph Scholte and Rebecca Gobitz.
The couple had four children, of whom Sara was already married in 1941 to Samuel Barend and lived at another address. And the three still at home living children Joseph Leendert, Jacob and Rebecca.
