Fijtje Posener was a daughter of Betje Posener. Fijtje married in Amsterdam on 6 August 1890 to Zacharias Walvis, who passed away there on 14 February 1925. The couple had ten children, of whom four sons have already died as babies. The other children were Levie, Hartog, Betje, Judic, Heintje and Gabriel.
After the death of Zacharias Walvis, Fijtje remarried to David Schrijver.
