Georg Bromet and his family

During the war, the newlywed couple Georg Bromet and Saarlientje van Buuren went into hiding in Kekrade. During one of the bombardments they went to an underground shelter. At that occasion they were spotted by the neighbours and betrayed. They had the option to go into hiding elsewhere separately, but did not want to be apart. When they took a stroll in the park they were taken into custody and transported East.
