Andries Groenewoudt and his family

The Groenwoudt family moved into the Helmerslaan in 1939. Before then, they lived at the Tongelreselaan in Eindhoven. On November 2, 1942 the family went into hiding. Mrs. Groenewoudt and two of her children survived the war.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 2863) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 4397/10024).
