Horst came to the Netherlands from Bielefeld, on 26.1.1939 and went to Voorst. From there he went to Enschede, and then to Apeldoorn. He was a gardener.
On May 11th, 1943 his son was born in Amsterdam. The son survived and went to Israel.
Just before Horst could marry his son's mother, he was deported (in February 1943).
